Established in 2007, Heartford Thoroughbreds is a boutique farm bringing you experience gained at the world’s finest stud farms right to the foot of the stunning Mt. Macedon Ranges. We limit the number of horses to ensure quality and attention to detail.

Christoph started his career at Coolmore Ireland (Castle hyde) for many years and was fortunate to have the opportunity to shuttle with stallions to America and Australia. He worked  at the Gestuet Schlenderhan  in Germany and in the United States at Ashford stud and  Lanes end  in Lexington Kentucky.In Australia Christoph was Stallion Manager at Eliza Park.

Candice was responsible for  the Foaling down of mares and the neonatal care at the Irish National Stud in Ireland,  Assistant yearling manager at Yeomanstown Stud in Ireland and stud hand  at Woodsedge farm in Lexington Kentucky.In Australia,Candice was Assistant manager at Heytesbury Stud in Perth and  Foaling Manager at Eliza Park in Victoria.

We have also gained experience by presenting yearlings at the top sales worldwide, including:

• Keeneland (USA)
• Newmarket (England)
• Goffs (Ireland)
• Baden Baden (Germany)
• South Africa
• Inglis and Magic Millions (Australia)

Together with our Veterinarian at Broadford equine Clinic, and Farrier, James Durham, Heartford Thoroughbreds takes great care to ensure that your horse can develop into its true potential.
